So as I said I'm thinking about purchasing Elite Dangerous but I have a few questions, is there lots of alien enemies? That was one of the things I hate about No mans Sky was the lack of enemies besides the other ships and sentinels.

My second question is can you get further in the game to command a larger ship like say how Captain kirk commands the Enterprise or Captain Ed Mercer with the Orville?

Third question, Is the game microtransaction reliant(Read some about this and watched some stuff on youtube but no clear answer)? like would it be necessary to purchase things with money in order to progress after already purchasing the game?

Fourth question, is Odyssey really as bad as people make it out to be? After watching videos that's what really has drawn me to wanting to play it after the game being out this long.
