Just got saved by the Fuel Rats. Still no clue what I’m doing but holy shit was that the most immersive and incredible experience I’ve ever had.
After that I did some research and learned that they have a literal history! This is crazy. I’m joining them the second I know what the hell I’m doing in this game.

the fuel rats are awesome guys....they volunteer to rescue guys stranded being out of fuel...I would think it would be quite a commitment to join but would give much satisfaction.
They are very organised and I would suggest doing some digging and find out how to upgrade your ship initially.
there is also another volunteer rescue group ingame but forgotten their names...somebody else may jump in and answer.
There are many groups to join within the game...being in OZ I have joined an OZ/NZ discord and it has put another dimension on the game for me.
