Unknown(within the databank) systems are "black" coloured text.
what about changing those systems which were visited but empty(no population) shown as.. grey?

The idea is to let us recognize systems without stations more easier on the galaxy map.
As the Allegiance is set initially to unknown.. this could be tested:
if it is "none" another colour could be used.

Err, do you have already added this?
Suddenly I can see different colours and a little "x" marking in empty systems.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was thinking of doing something with the icons on the map (I just didnt get around to it). You should now see colour-coded icons (ie. Federation blue etc.), an none icon (hollow circle with cross) and a unknown (empty circle). This has been rolled out to the universe, nearby, rare-trading and explorer maps.
