sector and universe trader greyed out

Hey Guys,i am playing X3 Farnhams Legacy and i can't start sector trader command,i have all the requirements as i have been playing THE X games for awhile,i have all the trade command software and 25 mj shields so i should be good to go the commands are there just greyed out,ANY HELP WILL be appreciated.

hi there, well it sounds maybe there is a missing piece of equipment, the wrong ship or not high enough trade rank. Let us know some more Smile
