Hi I am not new to Elite Dangerous but did not know until now that access to "SOL" is automatic for players who are "game backers" !! Would anyone please let me know what exactly does this mean? thank you

Hi!
If you purchased a package on kickstarter before it was released, you will have access to it without needing to get the permit though normal means.

Don't worry it is quite easy to get the Sol permit. Just do some missions for the Feds and rank up a bit. You will be scooping fuel from our star in no time.
