The parts

The mod comes in 4 parts actually. This is to leave the player (yes, I'm talking about you) the choice. The 4 parts are as follows:
  • The main mod,
  • GUI/HUD improvement,
  • No mini asteroids,
  • Classic Rules,

Now for first time users this might seem a bit weird but just read on and you'll understand

Main Mod

This will be explained in detail later on, but in short this is the bulk of improvements, the new ships, the new sectors almost everything is in here.

GUI/HUD mod

This mod can be found in the mini-mods folder, it has it's own explanation, but basically what this does is change your sectors map, to contain color-coded names, to easily identify which sector belongs to which race. It might not seem like much, but it's a huge improvement when looking for specific sectors.

No mini asteroids

Like the GUI mod this can be found in the mini-mods folder, and it too has it's own explanation. In short this will remove the useless empty asteroids from your game. The ones that are empty, can't be mined, don't contain anything, and do nothing except take away precious PC resources and make your AI ships crash into them.

Classic rules

Again, same goes for this, it can be found in mini-mods folder, and has an explanation. Nonetheless a part of this document will focus on this mini-mod and it's nuances, but in short this changes the ship stats for all ships. The changes range from shields to speed, to weapons to laser power. More on this topic later on.
