It will be a long time (6-12hrs in-game) until you finally get the following message:


When you do, you will be told to meet Ho t'Sht the Split Elephant (Family Pride this time). So when you are ready, head over there and speak to her.

She will tell you about this new ship they have been working on; the Split Acinonyx Prototype:

The ship is a very fast M6 ship (a top speed of 190m/s) with good shielding. You will find it docked onboard the Shipyard. So now you need to switch ships for the next part of the plot. The ship will act very strange at first - including pulling your leg (I wonder how many people will jump ship at this point).

So... now we told to head back to Lost Order with the new ship. As soon has you enter the sector, the ship will misfunction - crippling ths ship, and leaving you in a strange part of space:


After a few seconds, a Xenon N will appear. The ship will spot you and start taking an interest. After a seconds, it will start downloading your ships database and will jump away.

The next thing to do is to repair the ship (so get the key-systems back online). To do this exit the ship and use your repair laser to bring the ship's hull up-to 30%:
