The reason I chose this start, is because it's broken.. You'll need a ship with weapon to do the flight school mission..

Bring up the sector map (press the . key on your keyboard).

As you can see you also own a scout ship called Discoverer, right behind you..

Hover mouse over it, and press 't' to target it.

As you can see, I travelled abit away from it, I don't want to fly over to it in my space-suit from here, since that's pretty slow.

Press Esc, to close sector map, and fly over to your discoverer, until you are closer, be carefull so you don't crash into it.

Eject from the ship (Shift + E), and you will be in your spacesuit, only fitted with a repair laser (wich is usefull if you damage some of your smaller crafts).

As you can see, when clicking on the ship, I'm still to far away to enter the ship, luckily we can fly with the space-suit aswell, it just goes slow.. You'll need to be around 20 m from the ship, to be able to enter it..

You can also change ship when docked at stations, or beam over to a different ship if you've installed a Transporter beam either of the ships (range 5km).. So you don't need to spacewalk all the time, however, we havn't got a Transporter beam, so space-walk it is.

Needless to say Egosoft messed it up with that aswell.. This ship it's not armed either.

So let's go hunt down a gun!
