Where can I find the Aran? I'm training squad of 40 marines in 4 military basis just because I need 2nd TL capable ship (for free that is ;D). Goner are bunch of fanatics to me so I don't mind being their enemy in game.

It is found in UFJD (Unfocused Jumpdrive) sectors.
To get the UFJD you need to complete the Goner plot, then it is given as a reward.

I'm going to hunt down the Aran as soon as I can 
We've already talked about Goner plot on steam and the only thing I miss is Teladi Squash mine factory to get the last piece of required equipment to finish their plot.

hehe. I didn't know you hung around here. But yea no need to reinvent the wheel so to speak. pretty much every possible question has been answered hundreds of times over.
The pic post is really good though, I know i missed a lot of Arans because I thought they were something else until i found one near the jump in point then realized what was happening.

I keep jumping and jumping with unfocussed jump drive and I can't find aran anywhere. I've found Xenon K though, that started shooting at my ship on sight

Try looking around more. It is likely a long ways off and possibly hidden from view by an asteroid. It is big, though. You should see it.

Wow, I'm sorry for anwsering you so late! I forgot to check the forum. Thank you guys.
It didnt take me 60 days, I started hunting it few hours before the post. The Sector was crawling with Xenon ships, fortunately I had full cargo of missiles so I used some of them.

150M to repair her, another 50M to upgrade cargo
not to mention the m2 im planning and some m6 to buy for protection.
Takes at least full 5 minutes todo a barel roll so slow is that thing.
