well not been posting much last couple of days as i have had a reet ruddy annoying situation.

i think it is now fixed but rubbish solution.

3 days ago i built a new complex 8 starburst generators 5 wraith missle closed fab .decided to build before capped my kyoto.

took me sometime to build.

but anyway after that i decided to go back and do some capping & killing

capped myself my first kyoto dropped 2 rep not bad did not rush getting back up not been up there for sometime.

and decided to drop back to black hole sun. did a bit of xenon killing and halfway through i hear "YOU HAVE LOST REPUTATION" WTF !!!

argon rep.

thought nothing of it dropped to 85% (protector of the federation) from top rank(Hero of the Federation) my top rank was about 16%.

off i go again flying around the universe doing jobs killing pirate station etc.

after about 3 hour i checked reputation i had now dropped to 35% WTF.

I start taking this seriously i have been playing this game for 3 months never dropped only by my own stupidity.

now i decide to backup my saves and keep going start doing some jobs for argon to boost my rep go backup to HOTF 16% within 5 mins though dropped 7%. i record all the percentages of the races.

i then start to notice losing rep with paranid. 3% every 5 mins i decide to pull all ships firstly out of argon prime. just incase one of my ships is hitting something i visit personally all argon sectors around do not find anything. er hum strange.

i keep going ignoring the drop just keep doing more jobs for argon to raise rep but keeps dropping.????

while all this is going on today i am doing a kill all xenon in argon space and hear you have lost rep now with teladi OMG!! i drop 2 instantly jaw drops thinking what the hell is going on.

i take pride in micro managing my universe so everyone is balanced and happy as i have not even started the plot.

so i reload back before i lost teladi rep and start moving capital ships out of there space. firstly i have 2 cap ships in merchants haven i move them and once again in 10 mins real time i lose rep ok. reload

i try again in seizewell 2 caps ships same thing again.

i have 5 cap ships in grand exchange to keep xenon calm it has worked for about 1 week. i pull them all out.

and Guess What !!!!

i run SETA for 1 hour realtime nothing no argon drop ,no paranid drop, no teladi drop but a sector full of xenon Big grin

What are the IFF settings on the 5 ships in Grand Exchange?

Somewhere out there is a Cobra Mk III with my name on it.
It isn't mine, some rando actually wrote my name across the side of his ship...

random ship collisions maybe????or maybe a RRF fleet was coming to help in grand exchange colide with one of youre ship and they start fighting cuz it killed there ship.i caped an agamemnon and had to kill his escort the M8
in particular but as soon as i killed it the hole group of them turned red and attacked me.thats my guess on why you lost rep.

it does sound weird but all my ships are parked in an unknown sector next to gestu fune and all are either in my complex or HQ save for the aran i prefer keeping it out in space.

do not understand if you mean combat wise

it was firstly defend position (10km) i post 2 on north 1 on east 1 on south 1 on west and basically they fell to sleep and did sweet FA i was watchin Xenon pop out of north straight passed my 2 M2's. pirates passed other gates so i decided to change them to kill all enemies checked settings on them all was correct my settings are "pirates,yaki,xenon" nothing else i only change mine when i want to cap a kyoto for eg. Guns

doubt it was RRF sweet idle buggers its a teladi space and the buggers stay in merchants haven or south its why i brought my own fleet in to calm the place down.

i love my agamemnon i take it into pirate space killing fabs with firestorms or killing "J's".

IFF - identify friend or foe? I assume he's referring to your separate settings for each of the ships that were in the problem sector. Whether you forgot one of them with teladi as enemy.

Nah that wouldn't have been the cause. Collisions are disabled for OOS in order to reduce the calculations required.

@suzukisxr
Do any of your ships have AOE weapons on them like the PSG? If so, they may be causing friendly fire causing them to turn hostile against you, and then being subsequently destroyed.

Teladi are actually friendly with Pirates and killing them in Teladi space will lower Teladi rep.
From there you will have a domino effect.

My 5 Ships that WERE sitting in Grand exchange were brigantines all with 26 IBL's and 16 Flak Artillery Arrays and while i am writing this is realise it COULD be the flak that is causing "FRIENDLY FIRE"

i hate that statement !!

FRIENDLY FIRE its murder pure and simple Guns

i have a Flak Factory in Seizewell that also has a galleon and 2 Carracks and have not lost any rep with them.

anyway been playing today do a load of stuff not lost any rep now my brigantines are out of grand exchange.

its full of red xenons runnig riot but sod em !!

can't be bothered to look after the sector themselves Big grin
