In my main 'corporate' save she's named 'Surgical Shrike'. In a different save I have a one named 'Shrike If You Wanna Go Faster'

My Flagship is a kyoto tricked out with Pandora tunings and Split Mk2 turbo booster (although this only boosts original speed twice), i have 6 OTAS M6 within with Plasma burst x8 and HEPT x6 a match for 10 vidars in Terran Space. Re-fire for M2 is slow but oddly identical if you sit in turret and charge the guns (hold fire down for around 8 secs) still a great ship for killing everything, useless for capping!

Im a sucker for Xenon ships (as my nick points out ) anyway for early game i usually start with either boarding typo fleet (Split ships) + XTRA shippack:
1 x Taipan
1 x Cobra
Anyway since i like Xenon ships currently i have a nice company:
2 x Xenon I
4 x Xenon K
1 x Xenon Z (XTRA)
4 x Xenon C (M7+)
6 x Xenon Q
And for Flagship i usually go for either Xenon I or Megalodon or Taipan. But since im a Xenon lover i go for I

Fleet Flagship is the Kyoto 'Cestria' though I usually fly either a Springblossom 'Gun Runner', Ocelot 'Concord' or one of my Spitfyres.
Somewhere out there is a Cobra Mk III with my name on it.

At the moment I use the Megalodon, it´s pretty easy to guess why 
anyway, Iam working on getting the Xenon I, Iam going to name it "iXenon". I could have capped it a long time ago, Iam just waiting for AP 3.0.

My flagship is a Kyoto that I've dubbed "The Blackened Skies" and Inside it I keep my Skiron, an XL super freighter, an Argon Phantom (for boarding actions) and A split dragon. I prefer the Kyoto over ships like the Boron Megalodon and Xenon I because unlike those other ships, the Kyoto has docking bays that support six large ships, so it acts as my ideal mobile command center, even if it isn't as potent as some other ships.
Sometimes I use an Aegir instead for the sake of speed and maneuverability.

Im a big fan of the Springblossom. Decent cargo space for missions/jump fuel and FAST. Anything fast enough to catch it isn't really a threat. It's a Finesse ship and I like that about it. (Still sporting a 0% harmless...for now.)
Full loadout of pSSC's front and rear. eEMPC's on the wings. Hit fighters hard with SSC's or nose down and whittle em down to crippled with wing turret EMPC's Boba Fett style.
For capital capping, I add the Thresher & Sirokos.
I've stolen an escorted (11 fighters owned) J and a K out of a full spawned Xenon Core and an I north of Getsu Fune with these.
I use a Hyperion Vanguard with jump fuel and a fresh Spitfire extension storage ship for post evac outfitting.
I use an Ocelot for prima donna taxi service very rarely.

A Vidar for most things .... with spare guns to vary loadout( Proportions of M/AM & EMPC to suit task (Wraiths,energy etc., carried in other ships for ease of replenishment.) Turrets usually set for missiles only or OFF. It can kill anything!
M7M Cobra to clear sectors.
Ocelot for taxi jobs.
Aamon Prototype when I want an M3.
Advanced Disco' for occasional fun. (It's fine as long as I can jump to a nearby gate if things get too much.)
Aran as a carrier for UFJD sector exploration (So far a total waste of HUGE chunks of time.)
I have owned/own several big ships but don't enjoy flying them as much. Very many of my ships have Turbo Boost to make up for any skill/tactical deficit.

In my main X3AP file I ran with a Boa with 3 Susanowa Raiders (4 PBG and 4 PAC each) as fast, heavy interceptors, and a Kestrel for scouting on board, but following it around I had an Ocelot as a main heavy combat ship (I know, obviously with 10 EBC's). I love the Ocelot as a combat ship, I can kill Q's with it!
I used those for a very very long time, expanding it to have about 6 Escort Skirons over time (E-cell generator for the win!); but when I finally got round to getting a heavy ship I didn't need anti-fighter, So I got 10 PPC Thresher as a light Destroyer, and a Boreas entirely covered in PPC's and IBL's as a Flagship Destroyer, it could also use CFA though (they were much more common than FAA!), so could deal with a few fighters. Don't like Terran ships, and the Size vs Power vs Cost of the Boreas compared to any M2+ won it for me; I can get that ship to eat squadrons of Tyr's for breakfast!

I use a Hyperion Vanguard. 5 Isr front hept front. pac back. mossies mdm. Wasp for m5 m4. dragonfly for m3 and m4. Typhoon for and thing else. carry a few firestorm for when I care enough to send the very best. Plus anything else i find. My Aran for when I for when I got ufjd ing, found a Vallalha that way . It has two nemesis and two heavy hydra in it for protection plus me and my Hype. carries a igandra for well when those extra ships pop up need a boarding crew.My Cobra when I visit the pirates they always have ships I can use lol.

Overtuned Hype is a monster of a ship...
nearly 300k speed at the moment... and still more crates floating around... don't really want to make it any faster!
Can't decide between CIGs and ISRs for the main weapon battery though... currently I have two of each (and 4 x PBG for weapons array 2!)
