If you have a steam account you should make a group. If not, then a group should be made for you.

I havnt been in steam for awhile I must emit. Before X3AP I didnt even use steam much, so im not very clued up on. A steam group... what does it do? and does it matter who creates it?

Groups can have multiple admins, so even if someone else created it someone else could be given admin rights. If it was an 'official' group for this community naturally that would be you. So no, it doesn't matter who makes it. As for what it does, admins can post news or events (though X isn't multiplayer so I don't imagine that being used a lot). Probably the biggest benefit would be the group chat room.

'should' was a bit strong actually. It ought to be considered.

Ah I see, thanks for explaining. Well all depends on how many would join the group.. maybe a poll tagged on might help?

Unfortunately I never used steam because I never played any PC game online, however I think I had an account but now I can't tell what it was. If it's really important then I'll try to join.

I've heard bad things about Steam and what it can do to your computer drivers and such.

@bozo64r i added you. my steam name is the same as here. i usually stay logged off on friends because i have none. Also im not playing X3 atm, busy with Eve and Skyrim.

ed: just changed it so i should show as online for now on.

Thanks for creating the group (havnt been in steam for awhile to be honest). I will make a news post for all the x-games, to spread the word a bit Smile

It should be good, we are able to chat on their. So if we are all on at once it will be pretty good.

Its a bit silly I cant join the group chat on the mobile, as I would be there a lot more. With the steam app I can do more or less everything else lol

Possibly that functionality will be added later. I myself will be in group chat whenever I'm in an X game.
