Hi,
The game just released in May. I watched some youtube video it looks like a mixture of freelancer and a bit of X. Graphics looks much better though.
Anyone tried? Is it fun?
Starpoint Gemini Warlords - anyone wants to try?

Finally I bought the game on steam and played for some time.
It is a unique game like a mixture of Freelancer / X / Stellaris, but I don't like the ship control. It is not the usual cockpit view or "mouse steering" view that we have in Freelancer or X.
The developers said it is because the ships in the game are all "large ships" so all actions are "precise and tactical" instead of dogfighting. i.e. you drop decoy to evade an attack and turn the turrets to shoot the target instead of steering your ship in such an agile and magical way.
Basically I am a commander not a pilot. That's why so far the fighting part is a bit boring but let's see if things would becoming more interesting when I have my own fleets and carriers which I just watch them to lay waste in the sectors.
