A new chat system

Ive been thinking about the old chat system today, after seeing the shoutbox over on x3dmod. I looked at pre-made systems (like facebook's activity system), however many of them had limits or forced you to register to post content. So I though why not code my own?

The advantage to the shoutbox style chat, is that messages are stored on the site rather than on a IRC room. This means you can drop by, post a message then check later to see if anyone has replied. The new system is much simpler to use - simply log-in, and then post your message.. its easy as peas!

Please remember that anyone can use the chat system, so no offensive or abusive comments please!
