Top-nav bar and recent activity

Today ive been working on a way to make it easier to navigate through my various sites, ie. X3, X3TC etc. For a long time the quickest way of doing this was to scroll down to the bottom of the page and search for the small links. This wasnt the most obvious way for many, as im sure many people didnt see those links. So ive been working on a nav-bar, that sits at the top of the site (kind-of like a tab). Hopefully this should make it much easier to swap between sites now, and maybe help you guys find more parts of the site.. like the arcade



The next thing I have been working on is a Recent activity log system. The idea behind this system is to allow you track what is going on the site on one page. ie. when someone posts a comment, replies to a post, news etc. This system should be more or less finished now. It can be found here.



The last thing ive been working on is a dynamic way of adding sites. For most this probably wont mean much, but for those who do; this means I can dynamically add new sites to the admin-code without having to change any code. So if wanted to add another section to the gaming site (say for another console), all I would need to do is to add one entry to a XML file. Which makes it a lot easier for me!
