Race against time

As soon as you enter Freedoms Reach, you will be told to either fly-off or to land on the trading-dock... you're in the way of the race-course. So land on the trading-dock, and you will find Ho t'Sht onboard (the missing Split bridle). So try talking to her - she will give a rude reply.

However.. someone else knows some dirt on her, but will only share the info after you beat time-trail. To do this you will be given a Argon Arrow (a very fast ship - 1300'ish m/s). The course must be completed within 275 seconds, consisting of 26 check-points. To start the time-trail, fly to the first check-point (Navigational Beacon). You must use the Arrow, otherwise you wont make the time.


Some players may struggle at this point - there isnt much time to make mistakes. Learn to follow the yellow markers, not the blue. It can be useful locking-on to them, so you can see how far they are. To trigger a check-point, you fly within 250 meters of the markers. However dont get too close otherwise you can smash into them. Hopefully after a few tries you can master the course, and beat the qualifying time.

When you beat the time, you told to contact an ISA Sponsor onboard the Teladi trading station. The Sponsor will tell you about Ho t'Sht and that she likes engine parts. You will be able to keep your Arrow!
