My staus report shows good progress with a few mark ups on my Universal Passport.
The continued and expanded trade in Argon core sectors and neighbouring race sectors, plus selling Adv.Sats have aided me in gaining rep in areas I have as yet not visited. This will prove beneficial when I finally get there.

Oi decided ta unload ma sats around Boron space for future reference and was just take a pint at a beer in Menelaus' Frontier when a young but battle worn lass sidles up to me....
"Do oi look lonely or do you welcome all strangers here?" I asked.
"Well I thought you weren't just one of the gang. You look like you have plans. I like a guy who's always thinking ahead of himself. My faher always said to me 'never be complacent in space", she replied.
"Good advice", I said,"But you ain't com' 'ere ta talk about your old man."
"...hmmm, Maybe not,but I heard rumours."
"Rumours?" I asked, one brow raising noticeably." There's always something behind rumours.Which one's have you heard?"
"Come, buy me a drink and sit down with me in that corner over there, and I'll tell you more" she said with a smile on her scarred lips.
"ok. I'll be there."
Trouble with rumours...it's hard to sift out what true and what's not, especially if a young lass is telling you.
....well to cut a long story short and not elaborating on what happened in her cabin later...
It seems that there are scattered around the universe a number of ships that the owners have simply abandoned for some reason. Fearing reprisals, most pilots just leave them behind when they discover them, but sometimes they are used as storage space.
She said there was one such ship in this sector if I was interested.
That night, she got what she wanted and I thought it was a good exchange....rough directions for an abandoned ship that may or may not have some worthwhile stuff on board.
Even if it has nothing, I can still repair and use it. And if it does not exist,...well I had a good night. And as an added bonus she told me she was sure I'd be interested to know that the East gate leads to Teladi space....
Now How in the universe would she know I wanted that last bit of info?
So off I go,pretending to lay advanced sats for my future fleet of traders, as they come through.
Well I found it. A toucan Hauler...
I don my space suit and take a closer look. Superb condition! Why would anyone want to abandon her? I get closer. Bring he details up on my HUD. Yep I am close enough to claim her....Now she's mine.
And just looking at the cargo I see I do not have to get her any shields ,but there are some useful things there.
Should I k'ep 'em or zell 'em? Fur noo oi'll send 'er 'ome.
