Yea it happen like this....(Tiger jumps into sector)..Take out the guardian..."Oh this is easy...some scouts huh?..easy....oh a carrier..that will be sooo eas...(Beams hit Tiger from all over) uh....maybe I can dodge...(BOOM)...maybe not..." total of 5.8 mins inside sector.

Wait...what? I breezed through the final mission in my Tiger. I did have the PALCs equipped though, not sure how much difference that might have made?

Better reunite with the fleet, sticking together would be much easier. Also I'd wipe out the Kha'ak quickly before they do, so make sure your tiger is equiped with the IBLs (and if possible, the PALCs as Kirlack said), the Tiger should be powerful enough. Well, actually I've wiped out the entire Kha'ak Hive with just my M6 Vidar (10 M/A-M Launchers in the main), the challenge was the Kha'ak Destroyer but as I said sticking together with the fleet would overcome this challenge.
Better reunite with the fleet, sticking together would be much easier. When you say PALC how did you obtain them to outfit the tiger? I have IBLs on the tiger now and that was not near enough to deal with them.
I hear that the Springblossom is overpowered. I dont want to just walk through the game like its nothing if I were to use this ship. I found it in the Alderan sector and I notice right off that this thing is fast..uber fast.
What do you all think about the Springblossom ship?

Eh, it's good, but it feels unfair and I don't like the feel of it; I have a severe dislike of Terran weapons too (apart from M/AML), so it's not the ship for me. It is very good though, with its amazing speed, very large cargo bay and PSSC compatability, all for a very *modest* price (WAAAAAAAY too cheap!!). It's your choice though, get one if you want!
Anyway, whatcha talking about IBL's not being able to handle Khaak? How many you got on your Tiger? And please say your not trying to kill fighters with them...
The Tiger can complete Final Fury eaaaasy, the first time I completed O:FF I did it with a Tiger with 7 IBL and a ISR on the front (I was 1 short!), and a choice of ISR and PBE in the turrets (I had Smart turrets back then as well, Screw achievements!); I didn't even drop below 50% shields, as I would retreat back to the friendly fleet to let my shields and weapon generators recharge. PBE's are really good for swatting Khaak scout and Interceptors, as they have very low hull health, and give quite a bite to Fighters as well!

During the second O:FF mission there's a random chance of 2 PALCs showing up among the minefield in the Khaak Sector. They're the only 2 that you can ever get in vanilla (unless you go on to clone them), and even then you might need a few reloads to get them! They're worth collecting if you own a Tiger or Panther, as they're the only 2 ships in the game that are compatible with them.
With a PALC and a single Flak Array in either side turret, the 2 Split M7s can piss all over Khaak ships

Friendly fleet?? There ain't no friendly fleet when I jump into the zone. I may be working with a glitched mission then....
Oh so its too late for me to get the weapons. Oh well...and my tiger has IBL all in front with chain guns in turrets.
And I also don't like the idea of using the Springblosom as it just seems way to unfair and would make the game way too easy.

Whoah, you've got EBCs in the turrets?
Flak Arrays. All. Day. Long. They will absolutely shred fighters And despite the Khaak's uncanny ability to shoot down missiles, your Tiger can carry a significant amount of Typhoons. They will do the job, if you spam enough of them

Kirlack, get the Marauder shipyard! You can buy PALC forges, which make 1 PALC about every 50 game days, but it means you can have 4 on a Tiger, and them obliterate the hulls on capitol ships; awesome guns, just wish i could have them in a main gun slot... Ooo, and redheart, you get it too!

I wasn't using the flak arrays because of how much energy they used up. I figured the EBC would do a good job with the anti-fighter and I could push the energy out the front at my main targets.
I am still sitting here wondering where the allies fleet are at though....

There is a mixed Argon/Split fleet in the sector from the start of the mission, but with the purple nebula there they can be hard to see. Of course it's entirely possible they've been wiped out by the Khaak defence fleet, or that they've drifted so far out of scan range hunting down a single solitary scout that you basically have to finish the job alone

Tiger's are awesome!!!! I just 'popped' over to Thyn's Abyss to hunt, and found myself a Xenon Invasion mission (paying 3.7mill + kills) and and Xenon Patrol mission (paying 2mill + kills), so I accept both, and immediately get a Q and a J jump through the west gate! I've killed 76 Q's before that one, so he's not even a challenge, but the Broadside on a J is pretty fearsome, so I had to rethink my approach = Full speed!
One nice explosion later, I flip round to overview the rest of the sector to come face-to-face with a K, with 4 escort P's! Well, it's safe to say that he didn't last long against 12 IBL's, and he didn't even make a scratch on me! (literally, I sat 5km away from him and he didn't even bother to fire a shot!) 24mill from the Hold Position mission, and a further 4 from the Xenon patrol, all for 5 mins work! And all of it I did in my Tiger Destroyer + plus a little help from my Solano wing to mop up the fighters! Awesome ship, everyone should get one...
