Making repairs

After sometime (between 10-15mins) you will be contacted by the researcher. They tell you the gate is repairable but requires some parts. Basically the following items:

• 150 x Quantum Tubes,
• 200 x Computer Components,
• 100 x Microchips,

Once you turn in all the goods, youre be asked to get some Black Crystals. Never heard of them before? well, there is a good reason; they arent sold. To acquire some, you will need destory a convoy, with the named salvage crew. This convoy will travel from Maelstrom to Gaian Star, then repeat. You will find a ship like so:


Once you find the ship, destory it and it will drop some Black Crystals;


Now pickup the Black Crystals and return back to the researcher.
