Terran Orbital Laser Factory M (Tech)

This factory produces Terran Orbital Lasers, developed with the express purpose of being the ultimate defence system for stations. Containing a powerful laser that cannot be fitted into a ship, these weapons are considered to be substantially more effective for defence purposes than other forms of weaponry. Orbital lasers have started to appear in many parts of Terran-controlled space. Their on-board artificial intelligence allows them to identify when the station they are protecting comes under attack, and adjusts their friend-foe systems accordingly.
