The first weekend

So the next two days is the first time we be able to have two full days (Saturday/Sunday, 25th and 26th of June 2016) on the upstairs project since last week. So the plan is to finish off doing the thermal insulation in the ceiling, recheck two windows and try to work out how to get the ceiling up. It would be good if we can get ready for plastering next weekend - but im not sure how things will go.

The insulation material is a slow process and boring progress, as the foam doesnt compact. So each piece needs to be cut exactly between the joists. This took awhile but we managed to get that done this weekend. We were also able to check one of the windows and it appeared there was nothing wrong with (on closer examination).

We also managed to get the electrical stuff in the ceiling ready. We now have 24x cables ready for the light fittings. This is how things looked;




I am not sure what will happen during the week, but I have a few tasks to complete.
