Argon Mercury (TS)

Ship picture
Mercury is the latest addition to the Argon Merchant Fleet, and it is a worthy successor to the Argon Lifter. Armed with an aft turret for defensive purposes, and increased shield space, the Mercury is more than capable of defending itself. Argon shipwrights that developed this craft were more than proud when the first ship rolled off the production line at Argon Prime.

I thought the Mercury was quite useful as an E-cell carrier, because its nice and cheap, with a decent cargo bay, and is faster than the Vulture and Dolphin; plus it can be bought in more ideal for shorter trips to your stations in Argon and most Teladi sectors if you have them; but as soon as you start making stations near the Paranid sectors, buy Demeters, they're better and ther're the same price....

A cheap jack-of-all-trades. The Mercury is well worth the money you spend on it - even if it is a little expensive to get it fully outfitted.

This is the usual Argon jack of all trades, master of none ship. One will usually be better off using a TS geared to the task; the Mercury is the ideal tool for no job in X2.
