How to import ship loadouts

On this site you can design ship loadouts and import them into your game. To do this select the ship your wish to do a loadout for, and design your loadout (in this example im using an Katana);


Once you have created your loadout, scroll down to Export loadout, and give your loadout a name and click on Export loadout. A text box will appear, click on Copy loadout at the bottom (this should add the text to your clip-board, otherwise copy the text in the text box).



Now open up your loadouts.xml file (found usually in C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Egosoft\X4\83058212\loadouts.xml). Now paste the code inside <loadouts> section;



Once done, quit out of the game (if running) and restart. You can delete any unnecessary patch requirements (DLC). Only add equipment which is purchasable otherwise you may find that slot empty (ie. if you put an Xenon shield into your ship, it wont be purchasable at an shipyard/wharf).
