Burnite Crystal (ware)

Though the pilot who first discovered this crystal wished to remain anonymous, and the reasons for its mysterious name are not known, it is confirmed to be one of the rarest precious stones currently to be found in the Jump Gate network. Traders and collectors will pay almost any price for it, giving a strong incentive for explorers to search asteroid fields closely for such a prize.
