Allographyne Scrap Recycler (ware)
The Jump Gate shutdown left many sectors with very limited access to resources, prompting stranded engineers to design advanced recycling facilities. One of these was the Allographyne Scrap Recycler; a module designed to recycle Allographyne Fragments into usable resources by converting them into Allographyne. The arrival of the first interstellar messenger drones after the Fall of the Gates encouraged the administrations of many sectors to share survival-critical information with now inaccessible neighbouring systems, including blueprints for the new recycling technology. The aim was to support resource-disadvantaged populations, in the hope of receiving important information in return.
This system of mutual information exchange worked so well that many sectors maintained it locally even after Jump Gate connections were restored.
