Resource Probe (ware)

Often fired from scout and mining ships deep within a mineral or gas region, resource probes are able to scan both asteroids and gas clouds in order to analyse what elements make up the region, in order to give miners a better idea of what they can find there. Not only can a resource probe discover the different elements making up the field, but also give a rough estimate on its yield.
