Hiya Roguey & Peeps,

Hey Bossman,
Quick question for ya?....
Have you added any new smilies lately? IE: In the past week..

I ask because I see there's now a "Speech Bubble" smilie in the list that wasn't there before that problematic issue with the smilie codes started for me.....

If you haven't added it, then something weird is going on....... Confused

The smilie in question is this: Wave

(used to be the waving smilie but is now a "Speech Balloon" type icon.. Well, for me it's a "Speech Balloon"....)

I seriously suspect that's what's caused the code "glitch" I had.....

PS Just realised where I'd seen this "Speech Balloon" before..... It's the icon displayed in the top left corner of the forum page header.... Some how it's wound up in the smilie list... Confused

That is odd, for me that 'speech button' is still a waving smiley like it supposed to be. Is anyone else having these problems?

Maybe I have added too many smilies for your pc to handle

I have done a a small update to the forum, edit now returns you to the page you were on.

Huh?!?!? Now it's working perfectly again.... Confused

This guy is back to normal for me --> Wave

& the "Speech Balloon" icon has disappeared.....

Got me buggered as what was going on.......... it was a case of each time I used this guy: Wave

, he appeared as the icon from the top left corner of the page header.... Cuckoo

It was really weird... I'd even deleted the cookies (again) to see if that would clear it up, but it didn't seem to..... Bash the wall

It wasn't until you mentioned that behind the scenes tweak you did, that it appeared to be fixed.... Poke

PS Nearly forgot to mention... I won't be around much on the 28th-29th of this month, as that's when I'm having my heart test done (basically have to wear this: Holter Monitor for 24hrs) & I'm going to TRY to stay away from the 'puter during that time period... Dizzy

No worries, Its probably your computer having an 'off' day - they all seem to do it!

The monitor thingy doesnt look very comfortable to me. It looks like your starting to turn into a Borg Laugh

I guess the quicker you do it, the quicker things will the sorted,

Well, the last time I had that done, it didn't work out so good..... all the electrodes ended up falling off at one time or another, so in the end I had to use "micropore(tm) surgical tape" (Micropore tape to try & hold them in place.... Roll eyes

The readings ended up as "inconclusive", meaning that 1/2 the time I suspect they weren't reading properly....

Ain't my fault they kept falling off due to me sweating at the time.... Angel

(not to mention the fact that the Dr {who was doing the test} didn't remove the hair from my chest properly..... all he did was a quick swipe with a disposable razor to remove the hairs from the spots he was placing the electrodes on, from what I could see all it did was remove a few of the longer hairs & leave a semi-bare patch {as in you could see a small patch of chest hair missing} where he stuck the electrodes...) {Oh & in case your wondering why, let me put it this way... I'm rather obese (140kg) for my height/build/age (173cm/ 5' 7"/ medium build/ 41yrs inna few weeks [:eek]) range.... I should weigh around 80kg or there abouts.....}

This time, I'm going to ask them to make sure they do a "proper job" of sticking them on me..... Go nuts

(even if it means shaving my entire chest to make sure... ROFL

)

I expect I'll do another sleepless night like I did last time... I stayed up all night so as not to get tangled up in the leads.... I had gotten maybe 1/2 - 3/4 hr sleep before I gave it up as bad joke.... {you try & sleep with wires hanging everywhere off ya chest plus having the monitor/recorder hanging on a strap around ya neck/under ya arm & trying to get comfortable with all that hanging off ya & freaking out about getting the wires all tangled up each time ya move.... Oh & going to the toilet is loadsa fun too... "will I rip out the wires if I move my arm this much & get it tangled up with the wires or not?" Roll eyes

}

All I can say is, having a good book to read comes in really handy for those loooooooong hours until such time as you can finally get the electrodes taken off.... LOL

Hopefully this time the test will be valid and you're get the right stuff, although it does sound very stressful. I did read your post and you said Dr Who looked at you - ure be lucky!

With the weight do you plan on getting it down?

I guess without a computer a book would be better than nothing, although id probably end up reading the instruction manual to a game lol.

Not the delete button only the edit button too (for the spammers posts) you know some people in the future may try to post spam, spam links etc we can't just delete the hole thread if it wasn't the spammer's thread..

Okies, well delete reply is done. However I have restricted deleting to only mods and admin groups. So I gave you the Global mod rights! Dance

... another update: I think got editing working for mods/admins. Here is a list of rights on the forum, so far:

Ammo staff
- Move, stick, lock threads (only in the C&C section),

Global Mod
- Move, stick, lock, delete (replies and threads),

Admin
- Global mod rights,
- Ban! - Yes I can ban people Evil

... another update: the recent forum post and edit now sends you to the correct page and post, so there is less page changing and scrolling!

I have now added the POTM code to both the X3 and TC sections. Anyone with mod rights or higher can add a POTM for either X3 or TC, but give it a couple of days - I have added 1 for today.

**EDIT** Teehee.... I be editing Roguey's post....

Let's see what sort of mischief I can get up to.... Poke
