hi there, I am testing to see if this new forum that I wrote actually works! If someone could post here that would be great. Please let me know if you have any problems!

Its nice to know its working!! thanks nova for posting here and testing it!
The forum is very, very young - I have many things to code like editing of posts, stickies, mod panel etc. I need the edit function like no tomorrow! (done)
The reason I removed the phpbb3 forum was that it was taking 40mb of space - I have no idea what the heck it was doing with all that. phpbb is big too, making it rather slow as well!
This code should also be much faster. I need to fill out the design too and give people profile pages...
btw Nova, you should gain some experience soon (for posting)

I have done some more changes to the sign-in system now. The account is no longer based on IP but your username, password and email account. Anyone before now who's created an account will need to email me, so I can set their password.
I am still having problems with subdomains, ie. login at roguey.co.uk and you should be logged to all the site (ps3, x3, forums etc.). The best solution for now is that you must sign-in for each area once. I am trying to fix this but without much luck
I hope this update should allow some more people to post.

Nice to see the system working for a change, especially after all the work put into it. The user system has been a pain in rear 
With smilies, the site currently has 55 working (I like them and I though you may too). All of them start with : then either a word or a letter, such as poke, guns, angel, bat, beer, bomb, bricks, dance, deal, eek, exp, geek, fart, rambo, sniper, term, wall, wave

hehe, the scoring system uses a more complex way to score you which range from comments, forum activity etc. Just keep on using the site .. posting a thread might help
I have just adjusted the system from sessions back to cookies - why another log out. The sessions only stayed active for 24 minutes, however the cookies should keep you signed in til 2012! Hopefully meaning a lot less sign-in - if everything works correctly - however this user system has been a pain!
I need to think of some level rewards too, like level 1 you get .... level 2... etc.

I have done some more work on the user system, please delete your cookies for this site then re-login (if you have logged before now). If you dont remove your cookies for this site you may find yourself being logged out all the time.
The reason is that I have changed the random unique code generator
... another update is now that the editor has been upgraded with some ubb buttons and all the smilies. All you need to do is click on one to add to your post

heheh, do you like the updated editor? is there anything ive missed?
I know i need to add a page to change your password and to add/update your profile. Do you think sigs should be allowed? Sometimes sigs can be 'messy'.
btw nova, you should become nearer to the next level on the next update. This is because I have added another level between the first two.

btw nova, did you clean out your cookies and resign in? in firefox goto: right click->View page info->security->view cookies->search 'roguey.co.uk'->and delete them. Then resign in.
