SE (ship)

The Xenon S is a light miner/freighter supporting the AI collective's primary resource logistics.

The SE is a more recent variant of the S, and while information is limited on the exact differences between the two versions, it is possibly only a minor superficial evolution of the design. A peculiarity is that the SE is one of the few instances in which the intermediate steps in Xenon evolution are present, rather than being confronted with almost entirely new designs after countless presumed iterations of unseen ships. Scientists hope that studying these ships may give valuable information leading to an understanding of the mechanisms and pressures behind Xenon evolution, so that the threat can be more efficiently counteracted.
