TEL M Muon Blaster Turret Mk1 (ware)

The Muon Disintegrator deploys a short-range projectile that adheres to its target and disrupts electromagnetic bonds in both shielding and baryonic matter. While the muon particles remain active, affected shields and travel drives are unable to recharge, reducing the target's ability to disengage or recover under fire.

Developed by the Ministry of Finance Science Division in response to advances in shield efficiency and travel drive regeneration, the system was intended as a countermeasure rather than a raw damage solution. Although early adoption was limited in favour of the more immediate output of plasma-based weapons, the increased presence of Terran and Boron propulsion technology has renewed operational interest in the Muon Disintegrator.
