CPU: Intel i5-2500k @ 3.35 GHz
GPU: Radeon Sapphire HD6870 1GB GDDR5
RAM: 16.0 gb
Sound: Realtek High Definition sound
HDD(s): Corsair Force 3 64GB SSD, 500GB Sata Drive, 2TB Media Drive
OS: Win7 Ultimate 64-bit

I think my rig is able to handle it just fine lol. I have ran all the new games on ultra settings and had no issue at all yet. I could upgrade to 20gb ram but dont see the need to yet.

If it doesn't play well on yours, it won't play much better on mine. I have everything you do except a larger SSD, a 7870 OC and my i5 is pumped up to 4.0

But I fear that this game will be so buggy we won't be able to realize performance anyways. Especially after what Roguey has illuminated us to.

For completeness sake here's my gaming setup:

Processor: Intel i7 870 @ 8x2.93GHz
Graphics card: Gainward GTX 460 GS-GLH EE @ 900Mhz 2GB GDDR5 (Experimental Edition)
RAM: 12.0 GB
Sound: Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD
HDD(s): 256GB SSD, 4x1TB HDD + RAID
OS: Win Vista Ultimate 64-bit

Pretty much your ordinary mid-end gaming system apart from the graphics card which was custom built for a trade fair presentation.

As everyone is posting theirs, here's mine:
Processor: Intel i5 3.2GHz
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GTX 660 Ti 2GB
RAM: 8GB @ 1600MHz
HDD: 2 1TB HDD (one is an external back-up)
OS: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

Only cost me Â£300+Â£115 for the Graphics Card (although I managed to flog the old one for Â£40)

*EDIT I don't have a special sound card... Just the basic one Cry

I've got Win7 on it too, but only for work. For gaming I prefer Vista because for some overly odd reason it actually gives me more FPS in the games I play. But then again I play pretty weird stuff. And it's nice to have the games on one OS and work on another because it helps staying focused ^^.

Good point. That would make sense about the better frames on Vista, as Win7 actually siphons off quite a bit of processing power when idling... Which it doesn't need. Fun! Would have though it would be better with XP though? That was great for game, compatible with everything...

hmm.. sounds like a few of you have similar systems to mine. Its hard to comment about the final requirement and speed but I would of thought most of them are okay/good for X-R.

Well in that case, where the screen? as you wouldnt be able to see the actual game otherwise. I do think them specs should be fine btw.

That would be a Samsung 830 128GB SSD
a WD Caviar Blue 512GB HDD
and a WD Caviar Blue 1TB HDD

Screen would be a Acer S236HL...

I reckon it should be, if you use an x64 bit version of Win8.

should run fine under win8, it doesn't matter whether you have a 64bit OS or not, as Steam seems to only operate in 32bit.... (Don't know why that is, seeing as most people appear to be running 64bit OS's these days.. Confused

)
