ARG S Ion Blaster Mk2 (ware)

Developed by the Argon Navy in collaboration with Jinko-Tekina Technologies, this anti-shield weapon is an approximation of Boron ion technology, access to which was lost following the Jump Gate shutdown. While early prototypes underperformed, incremental enhancements to electrical field strength have significantly improved performance, narrowing the gap with the original design.

In addition to severe shield degradation, the weapon's electrical discharge can momentarily disable the travel drive, boost engine, and targeting systems on small to medium-class vessels.
